Kirovsky Zavod launches production of new drilling rigs

Drilling Technologies Factory, a subsidiary of Kirovsky Zavod, is launching a new product. The first rig made according to the new modifications has been shipped to the customer.

The URB-14.ZBT Tarantula drilling rig, mounted on a self-propelled hydraulic tracked platform truck, is designed to carry out drilling work during geotechnical and hydrogeological surveying at sites where it is difficult to use large-sized wheels. Its most attractive feature is that it is compact, yet very powerful. Drilling can be directed from the drilling rig's control panel. This process will be operated remotely in future; moving to an electronic system of control will make this work safer.
