The winners of the 3rd All-Russian Corporate Museum competition were announced on April 29. The Kirov Plant Museum of History and Technology’s exhibition marking the group’s 220th anniversary took third place in the Exhibition of the Year category.

In 2021, 62 museums from 37 Russian cities took part in the competition, putting forward 123 competitive projects across 14 categories. Participants included corporate museums belonging to companies such as TATNEFT, FSUE Mining and Chemical Combine, LUKOIL, TASS, and Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk.

“For the third year running, our exhibition was considered one of the best in Russia. This year, we used the exhibition to try and present as much information as possible in an interesting way about the 220-year history of our group, which is an integral part of Russian history. The museum’s collections are always growing. We look forward to welcoming everyone interested in the history of Russian industry!” said Ekaterina Klyuchnikova, Director of Public Relations and Administrative Issues for Kirovsky Zavod.

The competition’s experts and partners visited four corporate museums in St Petersburg: the Russian Railways Museum, the Kirov Plant Museum of History and Technology, the Goznak History of Money Museum, and the History Museum at St Petersburg Polytechnic University.
