Peterburgsky Traktorny Zavod is implementing a project for transmissions production

Peterburgsky Traktorny Zavod (a subsidiary of Kirovsky Zavod) began a creation of the first advanced competence center in Russia for development and production of automated transmissions. The project will be implemented with a support of Government of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and Industrial Development Fund. Its cost will be more than 4 billion rubles, payback period - 5 years.

Of the total investment amount: 1 billion rubles is a refundable loan of Industrial Development Fund. Another 1.2 billion rubles will be provided by a leasing company of the State Corporation Rostek and Industrial Development Fund - Natspromlizing. Own planned investments of Peterburgsky Traktorny Zavod are 1.8 billion rubles.

The launch date for a new production is the first quarter of 2019. The projected capacity of the center is about 7 thousand automated transmissions per year.
