Kirovsky Zavod included in top 150 best-known St Petersburg brands

For the first time ever, the Kirovsky Zavod brand is now one of the top five St Petersburg trademarks most often mentioned in the media.

The award ceremony for winners of the St Petersburg Brand Rating 2020 took place on 25 August. The newspaper Delovoy Peterburg placed Kirovsky Zavod fourteenth in the list of the most successful brands by goods manufacturers.
 
In the first stage of drawing up the ranking, journalists and newspaper readers chose 300 symbols of Russia’s northern capital. This list was then narrowed down to the 150 most recognizable. The trademarks were divided into three categories: Services, Goods, and Internet Aggregators. These were assessed by expert members of federal associations that bring together specialists in branding, advertising, PR, marketing, and retail, as well as industry associations and consulates-general located in St Petersburg.
 
After considering the brands’ success and effectiveness, the editorial board of Delovoy Peterburg moved on to consider their media presence. Medialogia analysed more than 58,000 sources, from traditional TV, radio, newspapers, and magazines to news agencies and Internet publications. Kirovsky Zavod ranked fourth for media presence.
 
“Kirovsky Zavod has been a leader in industry for three centuries, and not just in St Petersburg, but in Russia as a whole. Working to maintain the reputation of a brand of this calibre in the media landscape is a continuous and multifaceted process that requires you to think outside the box. To attract the attention of regional and national media, we regularly hold events and try out various formats: press tours for journalists, test drives for bloggers, and corporate events and special projects,” explained Yekaterina Klyuchnikova, Director of Public Relations and Administration at Kirovsky Zavod.
